the things i Eat

Have you ever gone to a fair and a picked of a chuck of meat to fulfil your basic primordial urges, to eat portable meat? Well most of the best tasting food at a fair or amusement park is on a stick. I wanted to bring that feeling home. Some meat even includes its own stick!! The bone. I bought some turkey legs and grilled them up. I started off soaking them in a brine solution. I didn’t know this but apparently it is a good idea to soak turkey in brine before cooking. It provides moisture, and reduces cooking time. I then grilled them for almost an hour on low heat. I added a bbq flavoured dry seasoning mix while grilling and then added a light coat of sauce when it was done. You need to cook them slow to make sure they don’t burn but its worth the wait. They turned out great!

so it is weird i know, but i like the taco salad at wendy’s. its weird because it has their chili in it but it tastes good. The only weakness is that the chili makes it too soupy. the key is to strain the stuff out of the chili and leave the broth in the cup. Also you need to throw out the sour cream cuz all it does is make it more fatty and tastes bad. the only good use for sour cream is pouring it on any appendage that accidentally gets covered in habanero sauce. so toss it in your first aid kit and get back to eating. one of the best parts of the salad is the ancho chipotle ranch dressing. It is a nice mix of spices and creamy. i normally tend to gravitate to the hot end of the spectrum but this is a good change. They also include some crunchy strips, they are the croûtons of the southwest fast food world. all in all it is a strange but good food.

sometimes in a man’s life he wants to eat… and a man wants meat and no veggies. where can a man have it his way? at BK you got it. I even have a t-shirt that says that. half out of desperation, i was starving nearly to death and half out of a love for any thing cooked by a flame i went to Burger King tonight for dinner. It was everything I expected. The restaurant smelled weird, they were slow and way understaffed, everything I expected from my days work’n for the king. I am not complaining though, don’t get me wrong, i love BK even with its faults. I don’t miss the sweaty days running meat, or the ice cold days at drive through, or thru, but i do have fond memories of the icing dip.

Now on to the important stuff!
I had a large double cheese meal with Orange drink.

I ordered Dr. Pepper cuz it was on the menu but they don’t carry it. Also my fries were cold, but it still tasted good.
